Musa between BiH senior national team and KK Cedevita Zagreb

It could be said that 16-year-old Džanan Musa is facing a pleasant dilemma, as he is desired by both the BiH senior national team and the senior team of KK Cedevita Zagreb, writes the BiH news agency Patria. Musa joined the cadets of KK Cedevita in December 2014.

As Sejo Bukva, the man who brought Musa to Sarajevo at the age of 12.5, told Patria today, Cedevita director Matej Mamić called him last night saying that Musa would be invited to train with the seniors, and Musa had already told Mamić that he was not tired and that they could count on him.

During the day, information emerged that Musa had also received an invitation from the BiH senior national team, which plays in the European Championship in September. What the talented Musa will decide will be known tomorrow.

The official website of KK Cedevita issued a statement that BiH defeated the host Lithuania 85:83 in the final of the U-16 European Championship, with 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists from Džanan Musa, a cadet of KK Cedevita. Musa was selected for the best five of the tournament and received the trophy for the best player, MVP, from the legendary Arvydas Sabonis.

Džanan finished the championship with an average of 23.3 points (1st scorer overall), 9 rebounds (4th rebounder), and 6.3 assists (1st assist leader).

After this success, Musa will face challenges in the Cedevita senior squad with whom he will prepare for the new season.
