Murphy's Gaffes with Intent: While Battling for SDA Presidency, He Didn't See Čović's Monolithic Rule in HDZ!

American Ambassador Michael Murphy was extremely eloquent when, during a recent television appearance, he “spewed” fire at the Party of Democratic Action and its leader Bakir Izetbegović. He accused the head of SDA of turning the party into a family business, stating that such a party is not needed in BiH and cannot be a partner to the US.

In translation, Murphy told us from the TV screen that as long as he is here, SDA cannot be in power because Bakir runs the party as a family inheritance. There was, of course, also the issue of the SDA Congress, where Murphy's favorite was Šemsudin Mehmedović.

The fact that, according to the information available to us, the party structure within SDA does not want Mehmedović, but rather Izetbegović, does not concern Murphy. He has his own stance on SDA under Izetbegović's control – it should be dismantled and kept away from power.

In the same interview where he criticized Izetbegović, Murphy praised the Sarajevo trio as some kind of driving force for reform processes at the state and Federation entity level. However, with the passage of time, it becomes clearer that those whom Murphy criticizes and attacks have far greater success and respect among the people than those he praises.

Thus, three weeks later, Izetbegović, with almost plebiscitary support, will be the sole candidate at the SDA Congress, and few doubt his victory. At the same time, the trio favored by Murphy, along with the rest of the government at the state and Federation level, is on the ropes.

At the state level, SNSD is blocking everything, including what it voted for a day or week earlier. Dodik and his megaphones have clearly stated that no laws will pass without the adoption of a law on the expulsion of foreign judges from the Constitutional Court and the introduction of the ethnic principle of voting in the court's decisions.

The fact that the evident crisis is currently not visible due to the dust of lies with which regime media present the successful adoption of the decision to have the EU flag alongside the BiH flag does not mean the crisis is not there. And those who consider the current government at the state level to be reformist and European will realize that the crisis has seriously advanced when Bosnia and Herzegovina faces another wave of separatism and anti-state actions.

The situation at the Federation level is similar, if not worse. Passage in Parliament is ensured by the opposition, which Murphy and his lackey Christian Schmidt nullified to zero, along with the FBiH Constitution. The FBiH Government, on the other hand, functions in only two directions. In one, it serves as a bureau for party cronyism, especially for Dragan Čović's cadres. The second direction is the adoption of acts by order of the godfathers of the governments of Michael Murphy and Johann Sattler. Matters for the benefit of citizens, the entity, and the state are in third place or not planned at all.

Therefore, everything that Murphy, with Schmidt and the assistance of Sattler, imposed by force is collapsing like a house of cards, albeit in slow motion. I don't know if the mentioned trio will be in BiH long enough to witness the moment when the government they created begins to collapse at an accelerated pace, because then they will witness the consequences of the chaos they created.
However, Murphy will certainly be present long enough to witness another rapscallion situation that he himself, to a significant extent, created with partners from the EU.

While Murphy was telling stories about Bakir as a sultan, members of the Croatian Democratic Union, in groups and individually, were fleeing Dragan Čović's kingdom. The development of the situation will show that Murphy portrayed Izetbegović as a sultan, while Čović, as king, was dismantling the Croatian Democratic Union and expelling cadres who opposed his leadership and tycoons favored by Čović.

Murphy and other Westerners, with the help of the media, tried to impose Mehmedović on SDA membership, but they did not issue a single statement regarding the autocratic leadership of the Europeanist Čović. And the reasons for this are completely clear: SDA, even after everything, remains the key political factor for Bosniaks, who, after the collapse of the imposed government, can return as absolute winners of the next election cycles.

On the other hand, Čović, even with three party members, will be the leader of democracy and BiH's European path for Murphy and Sattler.

The principles are clear, everything else is interests!

Murphy will almost certainly end his mandate in BiH caught in the traps he set for others – the government under his banner will end in fiasco, and politicians under his protectorate will remain in a position to control and divide the taxpayer budget for HDZ tycoons.

Only Šemse won't be there, because those who play for the Americans can be traitors, separatists, or HDZ kings, but not the president of SDA! Because SDA was founded on resistance to occupation, and that thread is not easily lost!
