MUP ZDK grateful to fans: Bosnia and Herzegovina-Wales match passed without incidents

After the international match between the football teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Wales, a meeting of the Staff for coordinating and directing activities for securing the match was held at the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Zenica-Doboj Canton, reports the Patria news agency.

At the meeting, an analysis of the undertaken activities was conducted, and it was noted that during and after the match, in the area of the city and the Bilino Polje stadium, no incidents, cases of endangering the personal and property safety of fans and guests, nor cases of public order disturbances were recorded.

Over 500 police officers from the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Zenica-Doboj Canton, as well as members of police support units from the ministries of interior of Sarajevo Canton, Tuzla Canton, Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Una-Sana Canton, and Central Bosnia Canton, were engaged in undertaking all activities for securing this sports event.

As part of the indicated activities, several service dogs trained for action in cases of riots, as well as trained for finding narcotics and explosives, were also engaged. 

We especially thank all citizens and guests who recognized our efforts, acted in accordance with the issued orders and instructions of our officers, and contributed to creating a safe environment through their correct and sportsmanlike behavior.
