(Patria) - Samir Delić, chief imam of the Islamic Community Council Kotor Varoš, confirmed for Patria that several Bosniaks were apprehended yesterday and today for carrying a flag with lilies during the Peace March marking the anniversary of the crimes against Bosniaks in this town.
The same information was confirmed by Munevera Avdić, president of the Association of Families of Martyrs, Captured and Missing Persons from the municipality of Kotor-Varoš.
We remind you that, in memory of the missing and those killed during the attempt to cross to territory considered safe for them, the Peace March “Silent Walk for Great Pain” was organized, from Karaula near Travnik to the village of Večići.
Participants of the March arrived in the village of Večići on November 3rd, where the central commemoration event for more than 160 Bosniaks killed in the village of Grabovica is being organized.
It is evident that the authorities and police bodies of Republika Srpska continue to persecute Bosniaks living in that entity.
