(Patria) - The regional office of SIPA in Banja Luka has ceased operations. All officials left the building after the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska issued an order to immediately stop work.
As Istraga learns, the Director of the RS Police, Siniša Kostrešević, called the Director of SIPA, Darko Ćulum, and informed him that he had received an order to take over the SIPA building in Banja Luka. After that, the Director of SIPA ordered his inspectors to leave the building.
“We all left the building. It will be blocked in half an hour,” one SIPA official in Banja Luka told Istraga.
Let us recall, on Thursday, the Law on Non-Application of Laws and Prohibition of Operation of Unconstitutional Institutions of BiH came into effect, which includes SIPA, the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the Court of BiH, and the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC).
According to Patria's information, about 70 people work in the Regional Office of Banja Luka, 90 percent of whom are Serbs.
The building is owned by SIPA.
