
Yesterday, police officers of the Department for Combating Drug Abuse of this Ministry deprived H.E., born in 1988 in Visoko, where he resides, of his liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs, and M.N., born in 1990 in Sarajevo, where he resides, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs and unauthorized possession of weapons or explosive materials.
During the personal search of H.E., as well as his passenger motor vehicle, the following was found and seized:
- approximately 25 grams of plant matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana,
- 15 packets containing a substance resembling the narcotic drug amphetamine,
- a pistol cal. 6.35 mm, and
- one mobile phone.
During the search of the house and accompanying premises used by M.N., the following was found and seized:
- one packet containing plant matter resembling the narcotic drug marijuana,
- one frame for an automatic rifle with 28 rounds cal. 7.62 mm, and
- 176 rounds of various calibers.
- The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of the above, and H.E. and M.N. were handed over to the Department for Detention of Deprived Persons of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton. Police officers continue working on clarifying and documenting the criminal activities of the said individuals - said the MUP KS.
