The MUP KS today issued a warrant for two individuals, Elvir Bašalić and Viktor Dumančić, reports the BiH news agency Patria.
Bašalić is wanted for unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs. He was born in 1982 in Sarajevo, and is known by the nicknames Žuti, Ramo, Eko.
Incidentally, Bašalić was already sentenced in 2011 by the Banja Luka District Court to two years in prison, as he was part of a group that sold heroin to addicts in the area of Banja Luka, Gradiška and other places in 2010. He was arrested in November 2010 in a Banja Luka police operation codenamed "Hit", along with 12 other accomplices.
A warrant for Viktor Dumančić, known as Coca, was issued for aggravated theft. Dumančić was born in 1979 in Zenica and has been previously known to the police.
Interestingly, in 2002, while serving a four-year prison sentence in the Zenica Penitentiary, Dumančić converted to Islam, which was sensationalized by Croatian media. After converting to Islam, Dumančić took the name Naser.
His name is also linked to the 2003 riot in the Zenica Penitentiary, which was thwarted by an action of special forces and guards.
