Munjić for NAP: Police officers who are not physically fit and capable will not be able to remain in the FUP Support Unit

(Patria) - In the past few days, the media have been writing about problems with newly recruited FUP police officers. The initial information spoke of instructor brutality, but the FUP denies such information.

FUP Director Vahidin Munjić told Patria that there was no brutality.

“One police officer had an injury during training, which is a common injury. After the training was completed, two more police officers who were at home reported that they did not feel well, they were with doctors, at home,” said Munjić.

Given that the media have been writing about the physical unreadiness of the new police officers, the FUP Director is resolute on this matter.

“All these police officers are in the Special Support Unit and must undergo training. If they are not fit and capable, they will not be able to remain in that unit, that is the real truth,” Munjić concluded in a statement to Patria.

We remind you that the information published by the portal Crna Hronika states that most of the new FUP members were not physically ready even for basic and simplest exercises.
