CONVERSATION IN THE PRESIDENCY Bećirović with Reis-ul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović discussed current issues in BiH and the world

(Patria) - Member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović spoke with the Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Husein ef. Kavazović, and his associates.

During the conversation, the importance of respecting diversity, cooperation, and coexistence of members of different religions in multi-ethnic and multicultural Bosnia and Herzegovina was highlighted.

It was emphasized that solidarity and the tradition of mutual respect and regard in our homeland are particularly evident during the celebration of holidays, which is an opportunity to strengthen ties and unity in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bećirović and Kavazović stated that it is also important to strengthen the work of the Interreligious Council in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of stronger promotion of dialogue and tolerance in Bosnian society.

They also discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the region and the world.

Attention was drawn to the importance of acting with the aim of protecting and preserving the interests of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as intensifying activities related to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, it was emphasized that it is important to support projects in returnee communities, as well as those aimed at connecting the Bosnian diaspora with their homeland.
