Mostar Mufti's Office and Majlis Mostar Establish Fund for Construction of 'Mevlana' Intercultural Centre

(Patria) - The Mostar Mufti's Office and the Majlis of the Islamic Community Mostar have established a Fund for the collection of voluntary contributions for the construction of the "Mevlana" Intercultural Centre at the Lakišića harem site.

Voluntary contributions for the construction of "Mevlana" can be paid to giro account no. 1346741007020614 (ASA Banka d.d. Sarajevo), with the note: Fund for the Construction of Mevlana; Recipient: Mostar Mufti's Office, Trg Musala 1, Mostar.

For contributions of 1,000 KM and more, according to the rules on monetary endowment of funds, a vakufnama from the Vakuf Directorate in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be issued.

The Islamic Community considers this project, which is accompanied by numerous tendentious insinuations despite the obstructions from the city administration, a vital generational project, a matter of honour and dignity, but also a symbol of freedom and equality for all citizens and peoples in the City of Mostar.
