Mostar: Stolen Bruce Lee statue found, 36-year-old arrested

(Patria) - Mostar police found the statue of Bruce Lee that was stolen from Zrinjevac Park in Mostar last weekend.

D.P. (1988) from Mostar was arrested for the theft, confirmed the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Ljudevit Marić.

"Bruce Lee from Veliki Park/Zrinjevac Park has been found and a battle for his life is underway as he is in critical condition.

Let's pray for him," stated the Instagram profile "Mostar Forever", along with a photo showing that the statue's legs had been sawn off.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs previously announced that "the statue was sawn off its pedestal with a suitable tool and stolen" and that an investigation was carried out.

The statue of Bruce Lee was erected in Zrinjevac Park in 2005, and it is the work of Croatian academic sculptor Ivan Fijolić.
