Must leave Bosnia and Herzegovina: Pavić is no longer Čelik's coach, Beganović to lead the team in upcoming matches

It has been two weeks since NK Čelik has had a Board of Directors, and since yesterday it officially has no head coach either, as Boris Pavić decided to leave the club he joined in January 2015, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

After a good start to the season, Čelik has not recorded a win in the last two matches, and tomorrow Vitez comes to Zenica, while over the weekend Borac from Banja Luka will be guests in Zenica.

Pavić's assistant Elvedin Beganović, who will lead the Čelik team in the matches, said that they enter every match with the imperative to win.

- We expect a good match, for our boys to play well as they usually do, and we hope that tomorrow they will make up for the defeat. We are still not clear on the starting 11, we will try to field the strongest and most in-form lineup - Beganović stated.

He also said that everything is being done to keep Boris Pavić as head coach until the end of the season.

Player Anel Dedić said that the players are not indifferent to what is happening at the club either.

- We have endured everything so far, and we will endure this as well. As for the match against Vitez, we are going for a win, it will certainly be a tough match - Dedić said at the press conference.

Incidentally, as sportzdk.ba reported yesterday, on Friday Pavić received a letter from the Office for Foreigners, according to which he, as a citizen of the Republic of Croatia, without the necessary work permit, which NK Čelik cannot obtain due to tax debts, must leave Bosnia and Herzegovina by the end of the month.

- Yes, that is true. I was at the Tax Administration today, tried to find a solution, but the people, true professionals, informed me of NK Čelik's obligations, that a rescheduling of debt is necessary and whatnot. Also, they kindly informed me that I could appeal, but that would buy me some ten days. I am a football coach, not an illegal immigrant. I have experienced so many beautiful moments in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a Čelik player and now as a coach, and I do not want to spoil that - Pavić said.
