MONEYVAL removes BiH from grey list

Bosnia and Herzegovina has been removed from the MONEYVAL grey list at the 48th plenary session of this organisation, held from 14 to 18 September 2015 in Strasbourg, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

At the MONEYVAL plenary session, with very positive comments and assessments, the 4th report of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the mutual evaluation of measures for the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing was adopted, presented by the MONEYVAL delegation of BiH.

Given the significant progress BiH has made in the last four months in the area of implementing measures for the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing, the plenary session adopted the proposal of the MONEYVAL Secretariat, and Bosnia and Herzegovina was removed from the MONEYVAL grey list and placed in the category of countries with a regular reporting procedure.
