
(Patria) - In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is on wet or slippery roads, and we warn of frequent landslides and advise more cautious driving.
Due to water overflowing onto the road, traffic is slow on the regional roads Tutnjevac-Bobetino and Lopare-Čelić, in the village of Pirkovci.
Caution is advised when driving over the passes: Romanija (Sarajevo-Rogatica), Han Pogled (Vlasenica-Han Pijesak), Ripač (Bihać-Bosanski Petrovac), Oštrelj (Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar), Komar (Travnik-Donji Vakuf), Rostovo (Bugojno-Novi Travnik), Makljen (Prozor-Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje), Koprivnica (Bugojno-Kupres), Karaula (Olovo-Kladanj) and Nišići (Srednje-Olovo).
We warn of the possibility of snow melting and water accumulating on the road. On the road Šuica-Livno (Borova Glava) and Glamoč-Priluka (Korićina), we warn of frequent wild horse crossings onto the road. In the wider area of Livno, Glamoč, Kupres and Bosanski Grahovo, strong gusts of wind cause additional difficulties for drivers.
Movement of all vehicles across the bridge on the main road Dobro Polje-Miljevina is prohibited. Vehicles with a total mass of up to 3.5 tons can use the roads via Grepak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of macadam road), while freight vehicles must travel via Rogatica and Ustiprača.
On the sections of the A-1 highway Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi and A-1 Sarajevo zapad-Lepenica, traffic is diverted to the overtaking lane due to essential works.
Due to works on the main road Tomislavgrad-Prisoje, traffic is proceeding in one lane with traffic lights operating 24/7.
On the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.
Traffic for all vehicles on the main road Šamac-Grebnica is suspended due to the repair of a railway crossing. Alternative routes are in use.
Due to winter driving conditions in the Republic of Croatia, a ban on traffic for trucks with trailers and semi-trailers is in effect at the Izačić border crossing.
At the border crossings, waiting times are currently up to 30 minutes.
Due to passenger registration under the new European Union entry and exit system (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waiting times may occur at border crossings.
The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. From December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing will be open for all categories of vehicles. Traffic for all freight vehicles is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
