Wet roads, possible rockfalls, drive carefully

(Patria) - In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the precipitation has stopped, but we still warn about wet and, in places, still slippery roads. In the morning hours, air temperatures are lower, and on sections in valleys and along river flows, there is fog, which reduces visibility. We draw attention to rockfalls on the road. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and to maintain a safe distance between vehicles. We also ask other road users to be maximally careful and to respect all traffic regulations.

Due to rockfalls on the road, as well as fallen trees, traffic has been suspended on the M-14 highway between Bosanska Krupa and Bihać.

Due to regular maintenance of the Hum, Pečuj, Ričice, and Klopče tunnels, the A-1 highway section Zenica jug-Zenica sjever is closed. During the works, traffic is redirected via the Zenica jug toll station.

Due to road repair works, the A-1 highway section Kakanj-Lašva (3 km long) is closed, and vehicles are directed to use the opposite side of the highway for two-way traffic.

On the A-1 highway sections Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi, Sarajevo zapad-Lepenica, and Počitelj-Bijača (in both directions over the Hercegovina bridge), traffic is redirected to the passing lane due to ongoing works.

Movement of all vehicles over the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina highway is prohibited. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons can use the roads via Grepak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of macadam road), while trucks must travel via Rogatica and Ustiprača.

On the Tuzla-Bijeljina highway (Banj Brdo), vehicles up to 3.5 tons travel in one lane, alternating, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.

On the Jablanica-Blidinje highway, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.

Due to road repair works on the Vitez-Kaonik highway, traffic is slow between 08:30 and 15:30, with alternating traffic flow.

On the M-5 highway, Izačić-Bihać border crossing, bridge reconstruction works are underway. Vehicles are redirected to a temporary bypass near the works, with alternating traffic flow.

There are no long waits for passenger vehicles at border crossings.

Due to the registration of passengers under the new European Union entry and exit system (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waits at border crossings are possible.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. From December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing will be open for all categories of vehicles. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
