Young Zmaj Kerim Alajbegović supported the marking of White Ribbon Day

(Patria) - The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina were given two days off after the match against North Macedonia, which was used for a series of private and social activities ahead of the continuation of national team duties.

During this period, young footballer Kerim Alajbegović joined the marking of White Ribbon Day in Sarajevo, where, in the company of singer Enes Begović, he gave support to the event dedicated to remembering the victims of Prijedor.

Alajbegović, together with citizens, participated in the symbolic commemoration, sending a message about the importance of a culture of remembrance and preserving the historical truth about the events of 1992.

The presence of public figures, especially young athletes, further attracted the attention of the participants of the commemoration, and their gesture was assessed as a contribution to reminding of the importance of solidarity and responsibility towards the victims.

The event once again highlighted the role of sports and culture in the public sphere, and their ability through personal example to influence raising awareness about important social issues.
