Young table tennis players of Bosnia and Herzegovina bring six medals from Cyprus

The young table tennis national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina achieved a fantastic result at the International Championship of Cyprus, held in the capital Nicosia from October 14 to 18, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Our women's junior team, consisting of Snežana Marković, Elda Šehić, Nedžma Mulalić and Ajla Salkić, won the gold medal in the team competition by defeating the Turkish national team with a score of 3:1. Also, in the doubles competition, Snežana Marković and Elda Šehić won the gold medal.

The crown of our women's team is the result of Snežana Marković, who won the gold medal in the individual competition by defeating a Turkish representative with a score of 4:0.

The men's team featured Mirza Hanić, Marko Vučijak and Dino Čizmić. Our representatives won the silver medal in the team competition, while Mirza Hanić and Marko Vučijak also took second place in the doubles event. In the individual competition, Mirza Hanić placed second and Dino Čizmić third.

- We must point out that we are very satisfied with the results of our competitors, who showed excellent form and offered maximum resistance to their opponents, thus winning these numerous medals - said Goran Rajčić and Amela Hadžiahmetović-Mujezinović, selectors of our men's and women's teams, respectively.
