With last night's training session at the FK Sarajevo Training Centre in Butmir, the young national team players are concluding their preparation phase in our country for the qualifying match against Switzerland, and this morning they departed for Biel, reports the Patria agency.
Assistant coach of the young national team, Draženko Bogdan, believes the team is ready for the match:
- We have made good use of the period since gathering in Sarajevo and we are ready to face Switzerland. We have analyzed the opponent well, and they are a very quality team. We believe we can meet the demands and expect a favorable result. We are going for the win.
National team player Amer Gojak is also optimistic ahead of the away match in Switzerland.
- We have been together for a long time, and we have trained and studied the opponent well. We are going to Biel well-prepared. We can expect a tough match, as the opponent is strong and plays on their home turf. However, they also have their weaknesses, and we will try to exploit them and get three points. We have a quality midfield, and I hope we will have the initiative and the ball at our feet to achieve victory.
Vinko Marinović's protégés departed for Switzerland this morning at 7:35 AM, where they will have another training session at 6:30 PM.
The match will be played tomorrow at 7:00 PM at the Biel/Bienne stadium.
The match will be officiated by Lawrence Visser from Belgium, assisted by his compatriots Jo de Weirdt and Karel De Rocker. The fourth official is also Belgian, Bram Van Driessche.
