
(Patria) - The eighteen-year-old suspect who falsely reported seven times that bombs were planted in several schools in the Sarajevo Canton has been ordered into one month detention by the Municipal Court in Sarajevo, at the proposal of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office.
Detention was ordered due to the risk that the suspect might repeat criminal offenses while at liberty, and he is suspected of endangering security and false reporting.
Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, arrested A. D. (2006), an 18-year-old high school student from the Sarajevo Canton area, on Friday, due to grounds for suspicion that he had falsely reported the existence of explosive devices in schools in the Sarajevo Canton area in the past period, thereby committing the criminal offense of Endangering Security (Article 183, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina) in connection with the criminal offense of False Reporting (Article 347, Paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
