Prohibition measures for Novalić, Solak and Hodžić: No meeting or communication with each other

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina rejected the proposal of the BiH Prosecutor's Office to impose one-month detention on Fadil Novalić, Fahrudin Solak and Fikret Hodžić, and they were released today subject to imposed prohibition measures.

As confirmed for Patria by the defense of the suspects, one of the measures is a ban on mutual communication, a ban on meeting and communicating with certain persons from Article 126.a paragraph 1, point c) of the BiH Criminal Procedure Code, in a way that prohibits them from meeting and contacting in any way with witnesses of the BiH Prosecutor's Office in relation to this criminal case. The prohibition applies exclusively to the "Respirators" case.

The imposed prohibition measures will last as long as they are necessary, and the justification for these measures will be reviewed every two months. The defense confirmed for Patria that the suspects will adhere to all imposed prohibition measures.

If they fail to comply with the measures, they may be ordered into detention.

An appeal against this decision does not postpone its execution. The defense of the suspects believes that the BiH Prosecutor's Office will appeal this decision of the Court of BiH, but they will be ready to respond.
