TUZLA, (Patria) - The Cantonal Court in Tuzla today issued a decision accepting bail of three million KM and an 11 million euro property-legal claim for Pramod Mittal, Rajib Das and Paramesh Bhattacharyya, which will lead to their release.
The Cantonal Court in Tuzla imposed prohibitions related to performing functions in GIKIL, which was damaged by 21 million KM withdrawn from the company between 2006 and 2015.
The court did not impose movement restrictions, despite the individuals being foreign nationals. Several months ago, the former director of GIKIL, Debashish Ganguly, for whom an arrest warrant was issued, fled from BiH.
"If the suspects flee, the decision will stipulate that the value provided as bail will be revenue for the budget of the Federation of BiH. The bail will also be revoked if the suspects do not respond to the court's or prosecutor's summons, and the value provided as bail will be allocated to the budget of the Federation of BiH, and in that case, detention measures will be imposed on the suspects," reads the decision of the Cantonal Court in Tuzla.
The Tuzla Canton Prosecutor's Office accuses millionaire Pramod Mittal, GIKIL Supervisory Board member Rajib Das, and the general director of the Lukavac company, Paramesh Bhattacharyya, of committing the criminal offense of organized crime with abuse of position and authority in business.
