Miralem Pjanić to miss match against Belgium due to injury

Bosnia and Herzegovina international Miralem Pjanić missed Juventus' Champions League match against Olympiacos last night, reports Patria agency.

Our midfielder got injured during warm-up, so he watched the match from the substitutes' bench.

There is no precise information yet on how long Pjanić will be out of action.

Juventus issued a statement confirming Pjanić's injury, and according to the portal Sportske.ba, there is little chance that the Juventus player will recover in time for the match against Belgium.

- Pjanić's injury is not minor. He will probably need a longer rest, so it is certain that he will miss the qualifying matches against Belgium and Estonia - a source close to Miralem Pjanić told Sportske.
