Minnesota advances to Western Conference Semifinals, New York vs. Atlanta game marked by fight and 51-point difference

(Patria) - Minnesota Timberwolves have advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals of the American Professional Basketball League (NBA) playoffs, after defeating Denver 110-98 at home last night in the sixth game of their first-round series.

The Timberwolves won the series with an aggregate score of 4-2.

Jaden McDaniels was the most effective player for Minnesota in the sixth game of the series with 32 points and 10 rebounds. Terrence Shannon Jr. added 24 points, Julius Randle scored 18 points, while Naz Reid recorded 15 points and seven rebounds. Rudy Gobert finished the game with 10 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists.

For Denver, Serbian center Nikola Jokić was the most effective with 28 points (11/19 field goals), along with 10 assists and nine rebounds. Cameron Johnson added 27 points and eight rebounds, Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 13 points, while Jamal Murray recorded 12 points and six rebounds.

Minnesota will play against San Antonio in the Western Conference Semifinals.

New York Knicks have advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals of the American Professional Basketball League (NBA) playoffs, after defeating Atlanta 140-89 on the road last night in the sixth game of their first-round series.

The Knicks won the series with an aggregate score of 4-2.

All 15 New York players scored in the sixth game of the series. OG Anunoby was the most effective with 29 points, seven rebounds, and four steals, Mikal Bridges added 24 points, while Jalen Brunson recorded 17 points and eight assists.

Josh Hart with 14 points and Karl-Anthony Towns with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists were also in double figures.

For Atlanta, Jalen Johnson was the most effective with 21 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, while CJ McCollum, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Jonathan Kuminga each added 11 points.

New York center Mitchell Robinson and Atlanta guard Dyson Daniels were ejected from the game after a physical altercation midway through the second quarter, with the Knicks leading 72-22.

New York will play the winner of the series between Boston and Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Philadelphia tied the series 3-3 against Boston in that first-round series, after winning 106-93 at home last night.

Tyrese Maxey was the most effective player for Philadelphia with 30 points. Paul George added 23 points, Joel Embiid recorded 19 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists, while Kelly Oubre Jr., who also had nine rebounds, and VJ Edgecombe, who also had eight rebounds, each scored 14 points.

For Boston, Jaylen Brown was the most effective with 18 points. Jayson Tatum added 17 points and 11 rebounds, Payton Pritchard recorded 14 points, while Derrick White scored 11 points. Neemias Queta finished the game with four points and 11 rebounds.
