Minister Salčinović presented the 'Improvement of the Health System in FBiH' project to health institution directors

The Ministry of Health of the Zenica-Doboj Canton hosted a meeting where Minister Aida Salčinović presented the "Improvement of the Health System in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina" project to the heads of health institutions in the canton. The project is being implemented by the Federal Ministry of Health in cooperation with the World Bank.

The primary goal of the project is to improve and raise the quality of primary healthcare to ensure some relief for the secondary and tertiary levels of healthcare.

At the meeting, a list of priorities in the healthcare sector was agreed upon, with an emphasis on prevention and diagnostics. Following Minister Salčinović's proposal, the directors of the health institutions agreed that one of the priorities in this canton will be to ensure better access to healthcare services for persons with disabilities.
