(Patria) - Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Minister of Finance and Treasury Vjekoslav Bevanda received today the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Croatia Zdravko Marić, with whom he discussed current economic topics and creating conditions for better business operations for entrepreneurs.
At the meeting of the two ministers, they discussed the continuous cooperation of neighboring countries from the perspective of the finance sector and the challenges faced by European Union countries and those aspiring to become part of that family, such as Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was emphasized that the Republic of Croatia will continue to provide support to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its European path.
In light of the discussion on investments, to which the Annual Conference of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), attended by both ministers, was dedicated, it was assessed that Bosnia and Herzegovina must
move more strongly towards implementing reforms, as this is the best way to achieve economic growth and open the path for foreign and domestic investments. The interlocutors agreed that neighboring countries should support each other in every segment and that it is necessary, alongside good bilateral relations, to bring businesses closer together, as this is of direct benefit to citizens and their standard of living.
