Ministry of Health of USK: Ascertain all circumstances that led to the death of Adem Jušić (22)

(Patria) - The Ministry of Health, Labour, and Social Policy of the Una-Sana Canton (USK) issued a statement regarding the tragic event in which Adem Jušić (22) lost his life on January 1st.

The Ministry emphasizes that they support the implementation of an internal review and the ascertainment of all circumstances that led to the fatal outcome.

They state that their primary goal is to ensure the functioning of the healthcare system and the health protection of citizens, the implementation and supervision of the healthcare system, the improvement of healthcare, and the coordination of health policies through healthcare institutions operating in the USK.

They further state that the Cantonal Hospital "Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić" in Bihać makes the greatest contribution to building the healthcare system and preserving the health of USK citizens, and that, although it does not have a sufficient number of doctors and medical staff of various profiles, it does not lag behind other cantonal hospitals.

The Ministry further states that it supports the implementation of an internal review regarding this event and will insist on ascertaining all circumstances related to this tragic case.

"Ascertaining these circumstances is necessary for the sake of the deceased's family, the public, and for preserving the dignity of the largest healthcare institution in USK and all medical workers who make a significant contribution to preserving and protecting the health of the canton's citizens," the Ministry added.
