Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns Dodik's coup d'état

(Patria) - Recent activities by the authorities of Republika Srpska are contrary to the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina and threaten the territorial integrity and stability of the country, which is of key importance for the entire Western Balkan region.

This is stated in a statement by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which joins other European countries such as Italy, Sweden, Germany... in condemning the coup d'état orchestrated by Milorad Dodik.

"We call for full respect for the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the judicial decisions of the Constitutional Court made on Friday, March 7. We call on all political actors to reduce tensions and return to dialogue, for the benefit of all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina," the reaction states.

The reactions followed after the unconstitutional authorities in RS, led by Dodik, passed laws restricting the powers of state judiciary and SIPA.

The Constitutional Court of BiH has annulled all these laws.
