Bosnia and Herzegovina Security Ministry Denies Claims of Alleged Training of Moldovan Citizens in BiH

(Patria) - The Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina strongly denies and rejects unfounded media reports regarding the alleged training of Moldovan citizens in BiH.

"These are inaccurate and unsubstantiated claims that have absolutely nothing to do with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Ministry of Security of BiH has received no official inquiries from Moldovan authorities, nor has any evidence been submitted that would confirm these allegations. Mentioning Bosnia and Herzegovina in this context is clearly an attempt at manipulation amid the heated political campaign in Moldova, which elects the President of the Republic on October 20.

We particularly emphasize that Bosnia and Herzegovina is deliberately placed in this context because it is a country that has not imposed sanctions on the Russian Federation. Therefore, it is suitable for certain centers to plant such fabrications at its expense. The stance of the Ministry of Security and security agencies of Bosnia and Herzegovina is clear – we have a neutral policy and appeal for peace in Ukraine and an end to the war that has lasted too long as soon as possible.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Security would not tolerate and will not tolerate the emergence of any training camps, regardless of whose interests they serve. The very fact that such media reports are a consequence of political interests and campaigns, rather than the existence of any credible information about Bosnia and Herzegovina's involvement in destabilizing Moldova, confirms that this is an attempt to destabilize international relations.

The Ministry calls on all media and competent authorities to report responsibly and verify information before publication, in order to avoid the spread of disinformation that could have negative consequences for international relations.
