(Patria) - The first 10 new minibuses have been delivered, and the delivery of the remaining five begins next week, confirmed KS Minister of Transport Adnan Šteta today.
Šteta emphasized that the minibuses will be in service in June, after all necessary procedures are completed.
He also added that he is happy, satisfied, and honored to be a part of this project.
- The minibuses were purchased with the money of all citizens of our canton, and let it be a source of pride for all of us that we are getting safer, more modern, and higher quality transport - Šteta stated.
He assesses that this is another important day for public transport.
- We are aware of the condition of minibus transport, we faced challenges on certain routes, and we decided to change the situation for the better.
Investments in this type of transport were necessary, after we previously procured trams and trolleybuses. Sarajevo deserves the best, we continue to work - Šteta concluded.
