(Patria) - Minister of Education and Science of Tuzla Canton (TK) Ahmed Omerović addressed the public today on social media, responding to a large number of inquiries regarding the organization of classes tomorrow.
"As of this moment, a state of natural disaster has not been declared in any municipality or city, which significantly determines the framework and competencies for decision-making in such situations.
Nevertheless, bearing in mind that the safety of students, teachers, and all employees is our absolute priority, the Association of Principals of Primary and Secondary Schools is in continuous session and is constantly monitoring the development of the situation on the ground.
In the event that circumstances arise in certain schools, including branch departments, that prevent the smooth conduct of classes, the school administration will request their temporary suspension.
Such circumstances may include floods or difficult accessibility of local roads, power outages, as well as difficulties in water supply or the functioning of the heating system.
If classes are suspended in certain schools, students and parents will be informed in a timely manner by the school administration, through the usual communication channels," Minister Omerović stated in his post.
