Minister Nešić looked after his friend: Srđan Pavlović appointed to the Joint Administrative Board for Lawful Interception of Telecommunications

(Patria) - The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, upon the proposal of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, adopted a Decision amending the Decision on the appointment of members of the Joint Administrative Board for Lawful Interception of Telecommunications and the manner of carrying out activities.

By this decision, Ivica Bošnjak was appointed as a member of the Joint Administrative Board on behalf of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, replacing the previous member Nedeljko Jović, and Srđan Pavlović, a representative of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), replacing Onjegin Tomić.

We recall that this Joint Board was appointed in February 2021 for a term of four years. Thus, before the expiry of the term, Jović and Tomić were dismissed, while the same representative of the OSA remained, whose name we will not mention due to the protection of OSA officials. Jović was previously the Deputy Minister of Security, and it is not known whether he remained in the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ivica Bošnjak is a cadre of the HDZ, Deputy Minister of Security, and has held several positions in past years, including Deputy Director of the DKPT.

Srđan Pavlović from SIPA is the choice of Nenad Nešić, with whom he has had long-standing friendly relations dating back to the time of the MUP RS.
