(Patria) - Zrinjski team tonight, in the city derby in Mostar, defeated Velež with a minimal score of 1:0 in the first leg of the BiH Cup final.
The guests threatened first. In the 21st minute, Spahić headed the ball down for Milak, who shot from a volley, but Karačić was safe in the Zrinjski goal.
The hosts retaliated four minutes later. Mamić brilliantly set up Bilbija on the edge of the penalty area, but the Zrinjski captain was not accurate and the ball ended up over the goal.
However, Bilbija redeemed himself in the 37th minute. After an excellent cross from Ćuže from the left side, he remained alone in front of the goal and routinely scored for 1:0.
The teams went into halftime with that result, and the second half of the match did not bring too many excitements.
Šarić's attempt in the 56th minute and Savić's shot in the 74th minute stand out, but there was no change in the score.
Zrinjski thus gained a minimal advantage before the second leg, which will be played in seven days at the Rođeni stadium.
