Milošević: Give football back to us who will cherish it like the Mona Lisa

(Patria) - The continuation of the Premier League of BiH is still uncertain, although clubs have started training. There are issues in RS and the decision not to hold sports competitions until July 1. In the coming days, a delegation of the BiH Football Association will visit stadiums in BiH, and it is still uncertain what the stance will be towards the continuation of the Premier League of BiH. The session of the Executive Board of the Football Association of BiH has not yet been scheduled and it is unknown when it will be scheduled.

This situation is hardest on professionals and sports enthusiasts. Semjon Milošević, a former footballer for several BiH clubs and the BiH national team, who left the most memorable mark at FK Sarajevo, says he does not fully understand such stances.

“Graduation celebrations are allowed, the curfew has been lifted, gatherings of up to 50 people are allowed, quarantine and self-isolation are lifted, etc., etc. When will some expert explain the difference between a gathering of 50 people and 22 players on the field?

I think it is more honest to shut down football than to 'rape' it and put it in the hands of people for whom it is a simple matter. It is not simple, nor will it ever be, nor will you, whom the misfortune called the Balkans has allowed to work in it, understand it.

You do not understand it. Football can be classified as art, like when a painter paints something abstract and no one sees it except people from the art world. For us who do not have that feeling, it is just a piece of paper, but for someone, it is the Mona Lisa - therefore priceless.

But likewise, some of us are reasonable enough to recognize that we do not belong there and to give up our place to someone who understands it, and we do not judge, nor are we so malicious as to decide and measure something and evaluate where we are not competent. Give back our 'Mona Lisa' - football to us who will appreciate and treat it as it is valued, and you go do something else, and practice football only during your scheduled time with friends, and not a meter further than that,” Milošević stated.
