Milošević: Defeats are always painful, the moment for writing us off will be in March

(Patria) - The coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team, Savo Milošević, arrived at the airport where he addressed reporters.

– Defeats are always painful. Nobody likes them, but that's the reality. I hope that honestly no one thought the path to the playoffs would be easy. The public's thinking, when I arrived, was that the situation was difficult. I reserve the possibility that the demands we place on the guys might be beyond their capabilities, but we have to see how much each can do. We must not have any dilemmas or delusions.

I am consciously risking somewhere when it comes to the result, but we have to bring some things to a head. The least of the problems is to build some kind of bunker, we gain nothing from that – Milošević began.

– I said last night that the intensity of running in the match was not enough. It's not that it worries me, but it's not entirely clear, when I see the attitude of some players, compared to some others. Many things stem from that on the field. Then the concentration from the first minute on the field is not at the right level, the first goal is incomprehensible, the second, again…

These are not football things that I can predict or react to in any way, preventively or during the game. It is evident that this team, when it concedes a goal, falls psychologically even further, then it all becomes a chain reaction – said Milošević.

– I don't like to make excuses, nor am I someone who will seek justification. We are without our best players, that's not my fault. I would like everyone to be together and for us to be able to do concrete tactical preparations for the playoffs, but I didn't emphasize those things because it would sound like an excuse – says the coach of the Dragons.
– I believe I see everything. Some have convinced me that they can, and some that they cannot. I wouldn't talk about names, it's ugly, but it's clear to me which players can and which cannot, as well as those who show extreme desire regardless of the team's performance. One doesn't need to be an expert to see some things clearly – Milošević continued.

– The moment for writing us off will be in March. I told them too, I am here, my job is to choose based on what I see on the field, not based on stories. Only based on the field. It mercilessly shows who can and who cannot. I have no doubt that everyone wants to, but the question is who wants it more – Milošević stated.
