Billionaire from Indonesia wants to invest in BiH!

The largest producer of hygiene products from Indonesia is interested in investing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of BiH (FIPA), reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP). This is the company "Sayap Mas Utama", which operates under the brand "Wings" with headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia.

As NAP learns, the owner of this company is Indonesian billionaire Eddy William Katuari, who is on Forbes' list of the richest Indonesians. His wealth is estimated at more than 1.5 billion dollars. He took over the company in 2004 from his father, who was a co-founder.  

It is one of the largest companies in that sector in the active Southeast Asian market, employing several thousand workers and operating for 60 years. They first started with the production of soaps and other hygiene products, and expanded their operations to the food industry.

According to FIPA, this company has expressed interest in cooperation and the potential acquisition of a majority stake in companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- The interest is in the field of chemical production (soaps, cleaning agents, and all care products), as well as in factories involved in food production. They state that the purchase of a majority stake in a potential privatization process of some state-owned companies is also possible - FIPA states.

The products of this company, FIPA points out, are known in Indonesia for their good quality, internationally recognized with a very economical price.

- This is a very well-known brand with great potential for expanding production and investment. All companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina interested in cooperation on this project are invited - FIPA says.
