The non-trial panel of the Zagreb County Court has made a decision - Milan Bandić's ban on performing mayoral duties has been lifted.
However, the measure prohibiting contact with witnesses who have not yet been questioned remains in force, as does the bail of HRK 15,000,000.
- The non-trial panel partially accepted the appeal of the accused Milan Bandić against the decision of the investigating judge who rejected the defense's proposal to lift the imposed precautionary measures.
Thus, the measure prohibiting the establishment or maintenance of contact with witnesses who have not yet been questioned in the investigation still exists, while the ban on performing the professional activity of the Mayor of the City of Zagreb has been lifted. At the same time, the bail in the amount of HRK 15,000,000 remains in force as a guarantee that he will not obstruct the investigation against him. This decision followed the Constitutional Court's ruling by which Bandić was released, and the entire procedure was returned to the stage where the panel had to reconsider the imposed precautionary measures - the statement from the Zagreb County Court reads.
