Milan wants Bajraktarević and Alajbegović

(Patria) - Italian media are increasingly linking AC Milan with young representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with Kerim Alajbegović and Esmir Bajraktarević, two wing forwards who left a strong impression in the World Cup qualifiers, in the spotlight.

They particularly stood out in the dramatic two-legged tie, and especially in the final against Italy. Alajbegović already showed his quality against Wales with an assist for Edin Džeko, which brought BiH to an equalizer, and then he was also successful in the penalty shootout. In the decisive match against Italy, he once again took responsibility and converted the crucial penalty.

On the other hand, Bajraktarević played both matches with full minutes, enduring 120 minutes in both games, and was also accurate from the penalty spot in the duel against Italy. Their performances showed maturity, mental strength, and the ability to respond to the pressure of big games, which did not go unnoticed by European giants.

These are modern player profiles – Alajbegović on the left and Bajraktarević on the right wing bring speed, technique, and tactical flexibility, with evident potential for further development.

It is also interesting that their market value has not yet reached its peak, which makes them even more attractive to clubs from Italy. According to Corriere dello Sport, Milan is closely monitoring Alajbegović, whose price of around 15 million euros could represent a favorable investment.

The same source states that there is also interest from Roma and Napoli, while Milan is already thinking about forming a team for the next season that would combine experience and youth. Although the current system of play may not perfectly suit these profiles, the plan is to adapt the tactical setup to the players in the future.
