Mešini's Dragons 20th on FIFA rankings

The BiH national football team has moved up 10 places on the new FIFA rankings, thanks to victories in the last two qualifying matches against Wales and Cyprus.

Mehmed Baždarević's Dragons are now in 20th position with 923 points, while BiH's opponent in the playoffs, Ireland, is currently the 42nd national team in the world.

The leading national team on the FIFA rankings as of today is Belgium (1,440 points). Second is Germany with 1,388 points, and in the top 10 are also Argentina (1,383), Portugal (1,346), Chile (1,288), Spain (1,287), Colombia (1,233), Brazil (1,208), England (1,179), and Austria (1,130). Croatia is in 19th place, Serbia in 49th, Slovenia in 64th, Montenegro in 78th, and Macedonia in 139th.
