Mešić: Minister Pendeš, are you ready to resign?

Mirsad Mešić, a deputy in the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, posed a question to the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marina Pendeš, asking whether she is ready to resign, as an indictment has been raised against her, reports a reporter from the Patria news agency.

- In Germany, to which we all aspire, the Minister of Defense also resigned merely on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense - Mešić pointed out.

Minister Pendeš, due to a business trip, has not yet responded to this question. She is accused of, in her capacity as an official and appointed official in executive authority institutions, while serving as Deputy Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, enabling her cabinet advisor Ivo Miro Jović to receive salaries and allowances despite not regularly coming to work or being present at the workplace.

In this way, the state was damaged in the amount of approximately 17,000 KM, which was paid to the aforementioned person for his engagement as an advisor, thus providing him with illegal property gain, and the state was damaged for the stated amount.
