(Patria) - Federal MPs are currently discussing the decision to dismiss Dragan Mioković (Our Party) from the position of Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH.
Mioković stated in his discussion that HDZ BiH has embarked on destabilizing one and forming some new majority, and that they have "assessed that it is time to transfer the crisis from the state to the federal level, which is an old, tested pre-election recipe," writes Patria.
- If you are for dismissal, gentlemen from DF, SDA, and SBiH, then you are part of the new majority. The dismissal of someone from one of the most important positions in FBiH cannot pass without broad inter-party consultations from the very top, just as appointments to these positions.
The question is what kind of majority it is. Will it be a destructive majority that will outplay the opposition as needed by HNS, destabilize FBiH - as you are doing now, or will you be a constructive majority and appoint a new Speaker as early as tomorrow and try to bring new quality to the work of this House so that the Federation of BiH "breathes" - said Mioković.
He told the opposition that his dismissal will not harm him or his party, Our Party.
- On the contrary. You are directly harming the citizens of FBiH, and that is why we requested the dismissal of Mr. Bošković. There are no personal animosities, especially not attempts at revenge in terms of positions for positions; this is a move made out of political necessity.
Because if we have the President of FBiH (Lidija Bradara) who is a Croat from HDZ, the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliament of FBiH (Tomislav Martinović) who is a Croat from HDZ, we must try to prevent you from opening the possibility that the House of Representatives of this parliament, until the election of a new Speaker, is presided over by a Croat from HDZ - Mioković said, among other things.
The head of the DF Club, Mahir Mešalić, responded to him, with the message: "If you were a member of DF in any case, we would vote for your dismissal for the words of hatred spoken 'about a few killed Croats'."
- It would be more moral for you to resign yourself after such words spoken. We, as a center-left party, cannot overlook these words, even if they concern any nation or any citizen of this country.
What you have done as the Speaker of this House is absolutely unacceptable from a moral, ethical, human, and if you will, political standpoint, because you should have manfully resigned.
If you say that a new majority is being formed after this, and it is not, I ask that your ministers in the FBiH Government and people in all supervisory and management boards and director positions also resign.
Let your minister Forto resign. If you believe this is a change of majority and if you distance yourself from all your coalition partners, then all of you should submit collective resignations - Mešalić said, writes Patria.
He adds that he would vote with both hands for the dismissal of Mladen Bošković from the Collegium of the House of Representatives.
- I must remind you that it was precisely you who dismissed DFs and appointed HDZ members to the Election and Appointment Committee. You suddenly woke up in a nightmare and suddenly realized that you are in the clutches of HDZ.
We told you not to behave like a branch of HDZ in Sarajevo and not to elect Marin Vukoja to the Constitutional Court and Zoran Krešić, an open "promoter" of so-called Herceg Bosna, to the Management Board of FTV.
All of this, Mr. Mioković, was enabled by you, and now you have come here to lecture us, after your scandalous statement about "a few killed Croats" and to seek justification for such an act.
We cannot overlook this, considering that we are a multi-ethnic party, that our president is a Croat. We have members from all parts of FBiH. We will not and do not want to overlook this, despite all your wrongdoings that you have committed by serving precisely HDZ for these three and a half years.
And now you look us in the eye and say - "he is not my partner", at a time when they have initiated your dismissal. At the very least, that is hypocritical - added Mešalić, writes Patria.
