Memić on new trial for Seferovićs: This is a disgrace of the Supreme Court of FBiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Today, the retrial of Ljubo and Bekrija Seferović began for causing a traffic accident and obstructing justice in the case of Dženan Memić's death, after the Supreme Court of FBiH overturned the first-instance acquittal verdict of the Cantonal Court. The father of the deceased young man, Muriz Memić, said after today's trial that "this is a disgrace, a sin, and forbidden what the Supreme Court has done."

"These three supreme horses Emir Neradin, Slavko Marić, and Dragan Čorlija did this to my Dženan. They don't let my child rest. They shouldn't have done this under any circumstances, even for human reasons, but they had an order from the 'shod' Milan Tegeltija who came to destroy the judiciary in BiH. He fulfilled his task and can leave now. The judiciary is destroyed. For three and a half years, I have been saying that Dalida Burzić is a criminal, that the indictment is false, and I stand by that. Dženan did not have the injuries that the Prosecutor's Office listed as damage to the van. Dženan had one blow to the head, the autopsy showed that. They can never change that, the injuries remain as they were found. This is a disgrace of the Supreme Court of FBiH, the Constitutional Court of BiH, the Federal Prosecutor's Office," said Memić.

He emphasized that he still believes Gordana Tadić, the Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

"I expect her to finish this job. It's 12 o'clock. Gordana Tadić is under immense pressure from politicians. I just asked her if she would be able to endure it, and she said yes. They have heard new witnesses, they have new evidence, no one can hide it anymore. In 10 years, people will laugh at the Constitutional and Supreme Courts. I can only tell Dalida Burzić that I will never stop because I am right and she knows I am right. It is a disgrace that she is a judge of the Court of BiH. Why did the HJPC appoint her when there were 11 complaints against her from cantonal prosecutors, my complaint, and many others? Dalida Burzić should leave the judiciary because she is the organizer of all this, and politics stands above her. I will never stop, I am still proceeding legally. I am using my mind, I haven't tried using force yet," Memić stated.

When asked if he expects help from the European Union regarding the case of Dženan Memić, as well as the case of David Dragičević's murder, Memić says that it will not be resolved without the European community.

"Politics here doesn't allow this to be resolved. I believe in the work of the EC, and if it weren't for them, we would still be at war. They are financing all of this, they can stop this, return the judiciary to zero and abolish their finances, and start from scratch. People are working, I am aware of that, they will bring this to an end. It will take time, and that is painful for me, but it cannot happen overnight, that's what they explained to me," said Memić.
