SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić called on the President of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH, Milan Tegeltija, to resign after the media reported that an intermediary had „expedited“ a case pending before the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo through Tegeltija.
„After this, for your own sake, for the sake of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and most of all for the future of the judiciary in this country, resign“, Mektić wrote on Twitter.
According to reports from magazine Žurnal, the first man of BiH judiciary was supposed to "expedite" an investigation in a case where the injured party, a businessman from Velika Kladuša, handed over 2,000 KM to Tegeltija's intermediary Marko Pandža, a police officer, so that the Prosecutor's Office would take up the case in which businessman Nermin Alešević is the injured party.
