Mektić reveals: Resolution of major scandals linked to the election of a new SIPA director

Investigations into the Bobar Bank, Boska, Andrićgrad, and Bileća scandals are progressing, while discussions with the Serbian Minister of Police covered the RS and Serbian healthcare fund scandal, BiH Security Minister Dragan Mektić revealed, reports the Patria News Agency.

- We have made significant progress in certain scandals such as Bobar Bank, Boska, Bileća, and even Andrićgrad. If everything was in order, then we must support it, but if someone, as part of a public or private partnership, was favored with over a billion convertible marks from the budget, then it must be resolved, Mektić said.

He claims that there are scandals worth hundreds of millions of convertible marks and that he discussed some of them with the Serbian Minister of Police, Nebojša Stefanović.

- I asked him if we could get to the bottom of the payment scandal between the health insurance funds of Republika Srpska and Serbia, to see what happened, whether it is true that 700 million convertible marks were somehow siphoned off and that someone took a large portion for themselves. I asked for a thorough investigation, Mektić claims.

He believes that the resolution of major scandals is linked to the election of a new SIPA director, because the police are a service to the Prosecutor's Office, and if cases are well documented, they will have an epilogue in court, ATV reported.
