SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to the absence of ministers from the Croatian people, the session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was cancelled. The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Zvizdić convened a session of the state government for today, but ministers from HDZ refused to attend the session.
Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Mektić accused HDZ BiH and SNSD of blocking the functioning of the Council of Ministers of BiH and of not working in the interest of the citizens of BiH.
„This is an attempt at a classic blockade of the work of the Council of Ministers of BiH“, said Mektić.
He stated that the key indication leading him to conclude that this is an attempt to block the work of the Council of Ministers is the announcement by Milorad Dodik, who said that ministers from the Croatian ranks would stop attending sessions.
“This is exactly what is happening in practice“, said Mektić.
„For me, this is a classic agreement between SNSD and HDZ BiH“, he added.
The Council of Ministers of BiH has not held a regular session since April 4. The following did not attend today's session: Minister of Finance Vjekoslav Bevanda, Minister of Justice Josip Grubeša, and Minister of Defence Marina Pendeš.
