MEJDAN SOLD OUT BiH basketball players host France

(Patria) - In the sold-out Tuzla's Mejdan, the BiH basketball national team is playing a match against France tonight in the qualifiers for Eurobasket 2025. After the victory over Cyprus 99:66, our team is not lacking optimism, but France is still a much stronger opponent.

Head coach Adis Bećiragić said that France is coming with an exceptionally strong squad, with a large number of quality players who can decide the game and score a lot of points.

"We are physically and mentally prepared, we have enormous motivation and a desire to play well in front of our audience. We hope for a good game and, of course, a victory. We know the strengths of our opponent, but also their weaknesses, which we will try to exploit. We will play according to our roster and with the intention of highlighting our own advantages. The same lineup as against Cyprus will play”.

Adin Vrabac, as in the match against Cyprus, will have the role of captain of the BiH national team. He believes that all the guys will give their maximum, and they will also use the advantage of home court and audience.

National team player Džanan Musa said that they are maximally focused on France.

"We will give our best. A tough game awaits us, but if we implement everything the head coach has envisioned, we will have a chance to achieve victory. The game carries great motivation for me and all of us, we will come out with one hundred percent energy. As the captain said, if we manage to connect with the audience, for them to work for us, not against us, I think a great game awaits us, and a tough night for them”.
