Based on the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Croatia on the construction of the interstate Svilaj Bridge over the Sava River and connecting border sections (Odžak - border of the Republic of Croatia and Sredanci - border of Bosnia and Herzegovina) of the motorway on Corridor Vc, on 17.09.2015, in the Electronic Public Procurement Gazette of the Republic of Croatia (https://eojn.nn.hr), under publication number: 2015/S 002-0030770, an international tender was published for the selection of contractors for the bridge over the Sava River near Svilaj, reports the Patria News Agency.
The deadline for submitting bids is 09.11.2015 by 12:00 PM. Estimated procurement value: HRK 196,600,000.00 (EUR 26,000,000) excluding VAT.
Completion deadline: 730 (seven hundred and thirty) calendar days from the date of commencement of works. The length of the bridge is 660 m, and the width is 29 m.
Sources of financing for the construction of the interstate bridge are loan funds from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and European Funds (for the Republic of Croatia), and EU grant funds and own funds (for Bosnia and Herzegovina), it was announced from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of BiH.
