(Patria) - At least two associates of Dino Muzaferović Cezar were arrested this morning in Sarajevo, Istraga.ba has learned. They were arrested at the request of the Slovenian police, and investigators link them to the recent murder of Satko Kekić in Ljubljana.
The international police operation, which began this morning, involves members of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, EUROPOL officials, and the Slovenian police. The operation is being conducted under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
According to Istraga's information, the arrested individuals, on the orders of Dino Muzaferović Cezar, surveilled Satko Kekić for days last November before he was murdered on November 29th on the road near the Mons hotel, close to Ljubljana.
Kekić was killed with automatic weapons, and members of Cezar's criminal group had previously threatened him for cooperating with the police.
Later, for the murder of Kekić, the Slovenian police arrested Dino Muzaferović, known as Cezar, a Bosnian citizen born in Velika Kladuša, who heads a criminal group that operated in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Italy, and Germany.
This group also planned the murder of the editor of the Istraga.ba portal, Avdo Avdić, but before they could take concrete steps, Muzaferović was arrested in Slovenia.
However, most of his associates remained at large. Istraga.ba will publish the names of all of Muzaferović's associates in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad today. Most of them are still at large.
