After the Centar Municipality building was set on fire during citizen demonstrations on February 7, 2014, the Civil Registry Office counter hall was opened in a very short time thanks to exceptional and round-the-clock efforts, reports the BH News Agency Patria.
However, due to extraordinary circumstances, working hours were shortened, and citizens could obtain extracts from civil registers and certify documents between 7:30 AM and 4 PM.
According to Jasna Beba, secretary of the municipal administrative body, starting Monday, December 22, the counter hall will return to its old working hours, meaning the Civil Registry Office doors will be open for citizens from 7:30 AM to 6 PM.
- Due to the fire and the dictated conditions, working hours were shortened in the past months. But now, conditions have been created for the Civil Registry Office to work until 6 PM again. In addition, citizens can submit applications at the counter on the ground floor of the Centar Municipality building, which was operational before the fire on February 7 - Beba emphasized.
This way, it will be easier for those who are unable to leave work during working hours, and who can obtain documents after the end of the working day.
