Marinko Čavara is also pressuring the Constitutional Court of FBiH!

FBiH President Marinko Čavara has again requested information from the Constitutional Court of FBiH on when it will rule on the Request for protection of vital national interest regarding the dismissal of the FBiH Government, writes the Patria news agency.

With this repeated request, Čavara is exerting a kind of pressure so that the Democratic Front might still declare one of its candidates from the 'others' category, and not from the HDZ, which instead of a candidate from the 'others' category appointed a Serb, thereby jeopardizing the constitutionality of the new FBiH Government.

Given that the Council for the Protection of Vital Interests of the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has not yet decided on the said case, Čavara reminded in his letter that the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on February 12, 2013, passed the Decision of no confidence in the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on February 15, 2013, in the procedure of majority voting with 38 votes "FOR", passed the Decision to dismiss the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina "elected" on March 17, 2011.

Considering this Decision of the House of Peoples, the Bosniak Club requested a vote according to the rule of decision-making on vital interests, which is why the Decision on the dismissal of the FBiH Government did not come into effect. Bearing in mind the importance of this Decision in the implementation of the decisions of the PFBiH and the respect for the principles of constitutionality and legality, an urgent decision is necessary, therefore the FBiH President expects to be informed when a decision will be made on the said request of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – the letter states.

However, as clarified to us by the FBiH Government, even if the Constitutional Court declared this Decision valid, the FBiH Government would have to continue working until a new one is established, otherwise FBiH would remain paralyzed.

This is just pressure that Čavara is exerting. Because, it is impossible for FBiH to function without a Government, any government. Then we would be left without pensions, disability benefits, salaries, so the existing FBiH Government must work until a new one is established – says our source from the FBiH Government.
