Marija Aleksić: I like playing against big national teams

It's the second day of preparations for the best female footballers of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Training Camp in Zenica, reports the Patria News Agency.

National team player Marija Aleksić is training hard, but she took some time to share her opinion on the national team's matches.

The start of the qualifiers is not a surprise for Marija.

- We have one win and two losses, and one could say it's the start we expected. We played two matches against Belgium, which was the favorite, and we beat Estonia. We are not satisfied with the fact that we conceded so many goals against Belgium, because the play in those games wasn't that bad - said Marija.

Aleksić also talks about the expectations for the next two matches:

- Our next match against Serbia is important. We hope to play it the right way and win to move up to third place in the table, where we expect to finish the qualifiers. After that, we go to England, which is the bronze medal winner from the World Cup. The first match against Serbia is more important to us, and after that, we will think about the English - added Marija.

However, our national team player enjoys matches against top teams in women's football.

- It is a great honor to play against such strong teams and in front of so many fans. In Belgium, I felt such an atmosphere for the first time, playing in front of thousands of people, against a quality opponent, and the feeling is extraordinary. I always look forward to matches against big, highly ranked national teams like England - adds Marija Aleksić, who revealed that besides football, she likes to play the guitar.
